Magic of Design Opening Party, Including the Design Competition and Industry Awards Ceremony — Monday, January 9, 6:30 pm
Mark your calendars to join the NKBA at its 2017 Design Competition and Industry Awards at Epcot’s World Showplace at 6:30pm. Actor and comedian Orlando Jones will serve as Master of Ceremonies for this can’t-miss event highlighting work from our industry’s top designers.
After the award ceremony, stay in your seats for the KBIS opening party. The Magic of Design Opening Party will feature a delicious, interactive buffet complete with a carving station, surf station, shrimp and grits station, and a pasta bar. Disney DJs will also be there to get the party started with help from Jasmine, Aladdin, and Genie who will be taking photos with guests. Network with the industry’s hottest designers and trendsetters, and connect with friends and colleagues as we wrap up this memorable evening.

Opening Ceremonies — Tuesday, January 10, 8:00 am
Don’t miss legendary quarterback Peyton Manning as the Keynote Speaker at this year’s Opening Ceremonies https://www.kbis.com/events_page/opening-ceremonies/. Fresh off of his amazing victory in Super Bowl 50, Manning will share his thoughts about his career and what it takes to be a leader.
This event is open to all registered attendees; doors open at 7:00 am.
State of the Kitchen & Bath Industry — Wednesday, January 11, 9:00 am
The NKBA will present its annual State of the Industry moderated by Emmy-winner and HGTV visionary Channing Dawson. Starting at 9:00 am, this expert panel will review the latest research findings and economic trends impacting our industry.
Keynote Session — Wednesday, January 11, 1:00 pm
Former Chicago Bears linebacker and acclaimed novelist Matt Mayberry, will share key insights about overcoming adversity, leadership, and motivation. Catch Matt at 1:00pm in room S201A.
The Bash — Wednesday, January 11, 8:30 pm
Wrapping up the show will be the Design & Construction Week “Bash” party, that will take place at Mango’s Tropical Cafe, 8126 International Drive. Held at Orlando’s most exciting/VIP nightlife destination, you won’t want to miss the annual KBIS Bash!
