Hello fellow Nana fans! As many of you know, this year will be Nana’s 20th anniversary, and I really want to do something big to celebrate. I thought of a few different options, but I decided on a video fan project where we all introduce ourselves a little bit to Nana and answer some basic interview-style questions. Since it’s a big anniversary, I thought it would be fitting to do something where we can reflect on our history as Nana fans, and I also felt that showing Nana how she’s personally touched lives across the world would be a good way to celebrate.

The idea is fairly straightforward: record a video of you answering a few basic questions listed below. We’ll compile everyone’s answers together to make a kind of documentary/interview-style video so Nana can learn about all her fans across the world! A few rules to follow:

  1. Keep your answers short! I understand we all want to talk to Nana as much as possible but please consider we need to fit everyone’s answers into the video. There will be a limit of 60 seconds for your video submissions. This is to keep it fair for everyone.
  2. Videos can be filmed alone or with friends (in which case rule 1 will extend appropriately). However, due to the ongoing pandemic, I ask that everyone refrain from gathering without good reason and take all necessary precautions to reduce risks. The last thing Nana would want is for someone to get sick for her sake!
  3. Please film the video horizontally and try to have it include your upper body and face so that it’ll look similar across all submissions. If you are filming multiple people, you might want to film farther away to capture the right body proportions. I understand not everyone has easily adjustable filming setups, but please do your best to follow this guideline.
  4. You do not have to speak in English. In fact, I encourage you to speak in your native language to give the video an authentic international feeling. However:
  5. Please provide an English transcript of your answers (even if you speak in English) along with your name, country, and how long you’ve been a Nana fan. This is to add Japanese translations/subtitles to the video for Nana and ensure that we don’t make any mistakes when writing what you said. Note: I understand some people are uncomfortable with giving out their personal names; even if the intended viewer is Nana, other people will see this. Feel free to use any name you prefer (such as handles or online names) or exclude your name if you wish.
  6. Please rank questions 1 thru 5 in the order you most want included in the video. Due to time restraints, we likely cannot include all answers from everyone. We will do our best to mix and match a few answers to each question based on this feedback.
  7. Submit videos and the information from rules 5 and 6 to NanaFanProjects@gmail.com
  8. Deadline is September 30th.

And of course, the actual questions you should be answering:

  1. What’s your favorite Nana Mizuki song?
  2. Who is your favorite Nana Mizuki character (besides Fate Testarossa)? Note: Considering Fate’s popularity, I’d like to ensure we show Nana some love to her other characters. Feel free to show Fate some love as your 1st choice but include someone else.
  3. What is your favorite Nana-related memory?
  4. What would you like to say to Nana?
  5. On July 7th, 2020, Nana announced her marriage!!! Our Nana has finally gotten married!!! Please say a few words to congratulate our queen!!!
  6. Finally, please end the video with “Mizuki Nana ni kakatte kooooiiiiii!!!” We’ll have everyone saying this together at the end.
