Why should you read me? Am I really worth your time,
In this classic called Life, I come tattooed with an ignorance sign,
Some portray themselves as Messiahs but never shell out a dime.
Can’t help these Double standards, but we can open a jack at nine.
Bullshit is better than shit, We humans are no pure,
Answer the question of who creates war, just to be sure.
Wild beasts are okay, but Sapiens are most difficult to endure
In searching for happiness in materialistic things, it’s the anxiety that we lure.
With so many conflicts and hate, How will civilization thrive,
Egoes creating havoc; Those in power are the ones most naive,
Ought to search for meaning, What is the point of being alive,
Everyone is cupping his own trumpet; No one left to high-five.
Care whether the other one cares, are we better than an overworked mare,
Troubled by our own decisions and then questioning whether life is fair,
Gotta understand the nuances of life, and it’s every single layer,
You gotta know the truth before you play truth or dare.
