Grandpa’s Last Banana

Why did Savannah steal it?

Photo by Louis Hansel @shotsoflouis on Unsplash

Grandpa’s last banana -
he had one every day
around about four-thirty,
kept hunger pangs at bay.

Now snoozing in the armchair,
he made a buzz-saw noise.
Savannah, growing restless
was bored of games and toys.
