Love of a Bearded Man

His beard tickles my cheek, reverberating to the fringes of my spine,
His stubble, grizzly and primed to the facial nerves of mine.
A hug so tender like remedial medicine,
Flows to the heart and releases adrenaline.
I cannot picture an embrace more safe,
No more loving, and never likely to cause chafe.
Locked and covered, my anxieties convulse, and ripple away,
Illumination emanates, turning aside the grey.
Who would have ever known affection can,
Catapult amorousity in the arms of a bearded man.
