Storming Area 51: A Sonnet

Dweebs and Dogs
Sep 22, 2019 · 1 min read

It started as a joking Facebook page
Since everybody knows there’s nothing there
No secrets, aliens, or monsters caged
But just a training base for Force of Air

But though mundane, it’s highly classified
And storming it would not cause that to change
For dashing heroes seeking what may hide
At the Nevada Test and Training Range.

The world is large: some said it seriously
To “see them aliens” they could achieve.
So some respondents saw conspiracy
And raided what they wanted to believe.

The word went out, and hundreds heard the call:
“Try as they may, they shall not stop us all!”
