Here is where I give thanks for this photo by John Morgan on Unsplash.

Goodbye, Netflix.
My brain needs heat
more than stories’
repeats repeat.

Hi, Sudoku,
I’ll ply your quid!
Missing numbers
on tiny grid.

This one’s ‘easy.’
Wait. Who says so?
I’ve placed four fours
in this one row.

Nine squares of nine
Means eighty-one
small frustrations —
quarantine fun?

NOTE: After chewing off the eraser, breaking the lead, and snapping the pencil in half, I went back to the much easier-for-me crossword puzzle with a ballpoint pen. So…what’s a 12-letter word for a Canadian comedy starring Daniel Levy? Oh. “Schitt’s Creek.” Right. And now I’m back to Netflix for more quarantine leisure. (This poem and note might be a cry for help!)
