let’s get to the bottom of this, with a little help from my friends on the West Coast

There once was a Senator named Nancy
a fresh new coiffure did she fancy
ㅤㅤher whim she acted on
ㅤㅤcalled her favorite salon
(I’m at a loss here, where are you Jk Mansi?)

The excursion turned out to be in error
as it induced great right-wing furor
ㅤㅤfor San Fran’s Covid limits
ㅤㅤban indoor hairdresser visits
(How does one get a clean cut these days, Sarah?)

The owner was no run-of-the-mill barber
Republican loyalties did she harbor
ㅤㅤsoon, Nancy’s closed circuit views
ㅤㅤwere plastered all over Fox News
(Do you think this was a setup, Sir Harper?)

This news item to me feels tawdry
and the reaction downright bawdry
ㅤㅤshe just wanted a blow-dry
ㅤㅤand got a political black eye
(Was it all worth it, Miss Audrey?)
