The Moncler Clan: A Poem for Skiers
Real skiers will know who they are
Behold the Porsche posers
And their flamboyant flock
Will show off their Monclers
On the cable car cat-walk
They’re not here to ski
That’s very well known
The white powder they dig
They bring on their own
Fur collars, goose down
Instead of Gore-Tex
Makeup and hair gel
Instead of ski wax
They come to this town
To flash their Rolex
They crave for the scene
Like Hollywood stars
Sipping Dom Perignon
In trendy ski bars
Exhuming fake stardom
They want to be seen
“Please, make it a magnum
With a flashing light in”
The poor Moncler clan
It’s a shame they can’t see
That the only stars here
Are the ones who can ski
