There’s Always A Story To Be Told

And A Writer To Tell It

A Poem

There’s always a story waiting to be told
One of truth, one of shame, one of glory
Of mysterious ruins and plundered gains
Or trodding through Amazon rains
It might be true, maybe not, but so bold.

There’s always an emotion to be had
Could be anger, could be sadness, could be joy
We all feel differently most days
And try so many different ways
To keep from being sad.

The story’s out there we all know
Happening real-time, yesterday, yesteryear
It’s a writer’s lot in life to write
Be it joy or be it tons of strife
All the world’s our stage, our show.

Some may write a tale of truth
Expose the wicked, hide the innocent, free the brave
A writer must courageous be
To ink the words of reality
For those of age, and those of youth.

If there’s a story, a writer will write
Their words, their visions, their dreams…
