With so many wonderful places to visit around the world it was hard to narrow it down to just a few of our favorites. But here are a few of the places we cannot wait to visit again.

Door County, Wisconsin

Wisconsin probably doesn’t immediately come to mind when thinking of amazing travel locals. But once you hit up Door County, in the northeastern part of the state, and right on the banks of Lake Michigan, you might be singing a different tune.

The area is littered with cute, locally owned shops and restaurants (you can’t find a chain restaurant anywhere in the county!), plus thanks to its great location on Lake Michigan, it is a wonderful place to travel to in the summer. Bring some lawn chairs and a couple of fishing rods and just spend a relaxing day on the lake.

Northern Highlands, Vietnam

Probably one of the prettiest places in the world, the mountainous region of Vietnam is a must see for any traveler. WIth massive limestone karsts rising above rice fields, mountain top temples with tons of color and waterfalls galore, this is the place to go if you want to get a taste of the real Vietnam. Plus, it isn’t very touristy so it is easy to escape the hordes of people that flock to Hanoi or Halong Bay. But don’t worry, you will see plenty of awe-inspiring scenery, including a personal favorite (and absolute must) Cao Bang, a massive waterfall with multiple levels that sits on the border of Vietnam and China.

But no trip to northern Vietnam is complete without taking a couple pit-stops at roadside cafes for a nice bowl of steamy pho. I promise it will be some of the best you’ve ever had.

Quito, Ecuador

This metropolis really has it all. Good weather, 12 hours of sunshine every day of the year, tons of parks, and more than enough history. In fact, the downtown was one of the first designated World Cultural Heritage Sites by UNESCO, and definitely worth a walk around. But you don’t have to be super into history to enjoy the city- it is also centrally located to lots of outdoor sports, including hiking the famed Cotopaxi volcano, and there are more than enough good coffee shops and restaurants to satisfy your cravings.

The Canyonlands of Utah, USA

This place will really make you feel like you stepped back in time to the Wild West. With its expansive vistas, monumental rock formations and rocks in all manner of colors, the canyonlands area of Utah (and a bit of Arizona) truly seem out of this world.

Chalk full of mind boggling places to see, some of the best require you to put a bit of effort in. Including the famous Angels Landing hike in Zion National Park, and the quick walk out to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. But if you are looking to feel a bit more “Indiana Jones-like” then don’t worry, there is plenty of adrenaline rush inducing activities to go around, including rafting the Colorado River, canyoneering in the backcountry and ATV-ing in the hundreds of acres of BLM land.

London, UK

Even if you don’t think you are one for city life, London might surprise you. The city is incredibly vibrant and has this fun, magical air about it that draws you in. Plus, if you are feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the people and congestion, there are tons of parks you can take refuge in, many of which are so large you might even forget you are in a city at all.

Besides the many parks, the city is also teeming with really neat museums — including the Museum of London, The Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Gallery. And because the city is so walkable, you can get around to all the famous shops and restaurants easily.

London is definitely a unique place- a place that even though it is massive and quite crowded, you can still escape into quite and beautiful places without leaving its borders.
