Each year, Boston TechJam brings out the creativity in Boston’s most innovative tech startups, and 2016 was no different. Over 100 companies competed for the attention of 6,000 spectators, so everyone was on top of their game to draw crowds into their booth. With plenty of cornhole and pong games going on, we wanted to highlight some of the more unique displays that engaged and entertained attendees.

Rocket Software managed to bring out the inner child in all of Boston’s tech community with a bunch of Legos!

Alexander Technology Group pitted attendees against each other with a speed pitch game.

Fitbit got everyone’s step count up with Dance Dance Revolution competitions all night.

Everyone loves free stuff, especially free ice cream. Our friends at Vice Cream were dishing out heaps of it throughout the night.

We at Pretty Instant had two separate activations going on during TechJam. One was with our friends over at Cengage Learning, taking & sharing branded photos in their booth to promote their #BeUnstoppable16 campaign.

We also teamed up with our partners at Breather to offer attendees free headshots in our pop-up Breather space. We utilized our Interactive Service to instantly send people their new headshots! #NoSelfies

Our headshot activation at TechJam ended with over 250 photos sent to happy attendees who learned about our Startup Photography services as well as got a chance to chat with the team (myself included).

All in all, it was a great event and to top it all off, a performance by Bad Rabbits closed out an epic night.
