BlogParser: Freeing the Internet
For people in the rural US and underdeveloped nations, loading up articles and content focused web pages can quickly burn through their ISP data caps or take far too long to load. With BlogParser this is eliminated, as a remote server takes care of the heavy work of loading and parsing the page. It then sends back a simple JSON packet with only the title and body text. This data can be displayed in all sorts of settings and formats.
It is still under development, but it currently has a fully functioning web-based interface, desktop app, command line utility, and chrome extension. Setting these up will require some technical aptitude, but the difficulty level is very minimal.
