100 Best Punk Albums of the Decade (2010–2019)
When I think of the punk music that came out in the last decade (2010–2019), I think of albums from punk legends from the 80s/90s, I think of bands that started off in the beginning of the 2000s, and I think of artists that really made their biggest mark in this past decade. Punk music may not currently be at its height, but there’s still several fantastic bands making phenomenal records and there’s plenty to be excited about in the coming years.
I compiled this list to show that the scene is still alive and well and to introduce others to albums that they may have missed out during the 2010s. As I love reading other’s “best of” lists to see what I may passed over, I hope others discover some new favourites themselves.
For this list, the definition of “punk” is somewhat loose, but still fits mostly into the standard description of the music (more-or-less). I avoided including more than 1 album by any artist (which also mostly includes different projects by that artist). Because of this strict guideline, there was several albums I wanted to include, but didn’t, instead only choosing my favourite from the artist.
Check it out, see what you agree with, and let me know what you think I missed.
