The 25 Best Albums of 2021 (plus more!)

As 2021 comes to an end and there’s a chance to look back at the past twelve months — what’s the one thing that we must reflect on the most? The answer is simple, it’s the music that was released throughout the year (specifically the great albums provided throughout the year).

I can personally say that these albums all played at least a moderate part in improving my year’s experience. Nearly every month provided a handful of albums that were must-listens and often the most difficult task was simply keeping up with all of these releases.

This year, like every year before, it’s important to note that there are undoubtedly some excellent albums that flew under my radar that would make the top 25 had I listened to them — tis’ the reality of a finite amount of time to listen to music.

If you’re a fan of punk, indie, rock, hip-hop, ska, and/or pop — you’ll almost certainly find at least 1 album in this list that you’ll love.
