Tired of Watching Netflix Specials? Here are 5 Comics Coming to Fort Collins.
If you are a resident of Fort Collins and love stand-up comedy, I have the list for you. Below I have compiled a list of five upcoming comics that are coming to The Comedy Fort. Hopefully, if you end up enjoying some of their content and have the time, you will be able to make it out to the show(s) and show some support for our local comedy scene.
- Matt Braunger
Coming to The Comedy Fort February 25th and 26th, Matt Braunger is a must see show. He talks about some of his life experiences while also being self aware. Matt is one of the more well known comedians coming to Fort Collins and has a good amount of content online. One of my favorite bits of his is when he discusses being single.
2. Chris Turner: Rap God
Introducing a new unique style of comedy, Chris Turner combines hip hop with comedy. I can honestly say I never thought a British comedy rapper would be something I find funny and interesting. However, after watching Chris Turner rap about audience suggestions, I am hooked and want to see more. He will be at The Comedy Fort on March 2nd and 3rd taking suggestions to rap about.
3. J.B. Ball
J.B. Ball is one of those people who can seemingly make anything funny. Whether it is a political topic you don’t agree with or a depressing event that isn’t usually funny, you’ll find yourself laughing no matter what. A prime example of this can be found on his youtube channel, where he talks about DMX passing away. He will be at The Comedy Fort March 4th at 7:00 p.m.
4. Stephen Agyei
Colorado’s own Stephen Agyei brings cultural differences to light by adding his own comedic spin. He does all of this while “having the whitest teeth in Denver” which is what his website says. If you want to see some of his material before his two shows on March 5th, you can check it out here.
5. Jordan Jensen
You know that one friend of yours that has stories from their life that seem like they are out of a movie? Jordan Jensen brings those stories to the stage by talking about her unique family situation. If you want to hear some of those stories, check out her instagram and this clip here. Jordan will be at The Comedy Fort March 11th and 12th performing two shows each night.
