Today marks the end of the first week that the Node Security Platform has been publicly available. Many of you have signed up, added your repositories to be monitored, and have provided feedback as to where we can improve the service.

Since we tried to get this into the hands of the community early, we know there will be bugs as well as new and exciting features. We’re going to try and get into a groove where we share the new things with you on a regular basis. That might just be bug fixes and might be feature announcements (like next week ;)

Thank you for your continued support.

This week the team:

  • Added the ability to view reports for public repositories, even when not authenticated
  • Fixed some bugs with GitHub integrations
  • Cleaned up some error messages and made them a bit more useful
  • Removed certain actions from view for users that don’t have permissions to use them anyway
  • Added the ability to delete an unclaimed invitation
  • Behind the scenes the Node Security auditing team continues to audit modules (more on this next week)
