NODR integration with Tendermint’s distributed ledger will be presented in Paris

NODR goes to Tendermint Hackathon

Teleport is about to participate at Tendermint’s event during Paris Blockchain Week on April, 13–19 with NODR, our decentralized CDN, driven by blockchain. This is the biggest Blockchain & Digital Assets event in Europe, and we are excited to be part of it. During one week in the City of Lights, numerous events will be held by the most prominent blockchain organizations.

‍Tendermint and Chain Accelerator open Paris Blockchain Week hosting a hackathon with a €10k prize. NODR goes for it! Each team needs to build an entire blockchain and UI on the Cosmos/Tendermint. Participants will use the Cosmos SDK, a modular framework for Go language allowing to easily build blockchains.

For Paris Hackathon, we are going to make a demo of NODR script running inside the browser and registering all transactions inside Tendermint’s distributed ledger. We expect the code eventually to be available in a separate repository, which will be open-sourced on Github as an example of integration with a Tendermint blockchain platform. More information will be available on www.nodr.io

We decided to participate in Paris Hackathon since we are excited about Cosmos / Tendermint platform, — said Andrey Klimenko, NODR CEO. Teleport team shares the vision of the platform creators that dApps are best run on application specific blockchain. The requirements of NODR app are quite tough — millions of transactions per second, advanced data integrity checks using BLS. Of all the solutions available today, we think Cosmos | Tendermint is one of the most efficient.

NODR project is promoted by Teleport company in a series of ways.

As a technology, that allows anyone to share (sell/offer/rent out) their devices’ idle bandwidth and get paid fast and secure.

It is also a network of connected devices that run NODR software. To make it all work, we’ve built it on top of a fault-tolerant distributed ledger technology. It’s safe, fast and extremely handy.

Besides, it is an application that can be installed anywhere. You can add it as a script to a web page, run it standalone on your device or connect a cluster of servers. All devices running NODR software become part of the network.

And the last, but not the least, NODR is a community of people who want to make the most of their devices, use the network to reduce costs of their business and all who see the future in the decentralized web.
