Foundational Members Program — NOIA Staking

Foundational Members Program was designed with an aim to strengthen and reward our community of long-term followers and backers for their continued support.

The program invites you to accumulate and stake your NOIA token holdings on KuCoin before the 12th August in order to receive monthly token bonuses directly to your KuCoin account over a period of 5 months.

On August 12, we will take an initial snapshot of your KuCoin account to determine the Net Buying Volume (buying volume minus selling volume) of NOIA since token listing on the 22nd of July. By doing that, we will identify the participants and their reward tranche for the whole period.

If you hold your NOIA tokens long enough you will be eligible to claim the monthly rewards. This process will include random snapshots during the course of 5 months to verify token balances, however you will be free to move the tokens if you choose to, therefore exiting the program.

The rewards will be distributed throughout the program on a monthly basis with a slight delay (to validate participants and execute token distribution processes).

Also, you must have successfully passed KuCoin’s KYC to be eligible.

Reward tranches:

There are 3 tranches of rewards each representing a minimum amount of NOIA tokens required in order to receive a monthly bonus.

Timing and deadlines

Foundational Members Program will last for 5 months starting on August 12th, 2019 and ending on January 12th, 2020.

You can only join the program before the initial snapshot — otherwise you will not be eligible to participate.

Initial snapshot will happen on August 12th — 6pm (Beijing time) which is the deadline if you plan to participate in the program.

Information for NOIA Node operators

Given that you’ve completed your KYC application on NOIA dashboard, ran a node and have already accumulated NOIA tokens before July 22, 2019, you are eligible to participate in NOIA Foundational Members Program with your earned tokens included in the required amount.

Process:

• The wallet you provided on NOIA Dashboard becomes your staking wallet.
• As long as the minimum required amount of tokens is held in your wallet, you will receive the monthly bonus.
• If you want to reach a higher bonus tranche before the initial snapshot (on August 12), you can transfer additional NOIA tokens to that wallet from KuCoin or anywhere else.
• Your rewards will be sent to the exact same wallet that you stake your tokens in.
