Cloudvisor is an intelligent cloud management system created by a team that’s been in the industry for over a decade. The main purpose of their product is to significantly reduce cloud costs on production and mission-critical applications without compromising service stability or requiring any changes on architecture.

Cloudvisor uses so called reserved instances to reduce cloud costs. Reserved instances are discounts given by cloud providers for long-term commitments from 1–3 years. Cloudvisor automates commitment management and make these discounts sharable. Taking these commitments onto themselves allows them to share the discounts among their clients which decide not to make long-term commitments themselves.

How this partnership brings flexibility to our clients

NOIA network will receive Cloudvisor’s technical expertise concerning AWS platform that we’ll use as a part of our NOIA Backbone. As a result, we’ll enable our clients to use both hybrid cloud (cloud + on-premise) and multi-cloud solutions that will be connected into a single NOIA Software Defined Network which they use.

Partnerships like these help us make our network as a service (NaaS) more flexible and customizable to our varying client needs. It’s clear that many positive outcomes will stem from this new relationship with Cloudvisor.
