Syntropy Pre-Launches Network With 500+ Locations, 150+ Providers
Today, we’re pre-launching Syntropy with hundreds of high-performance nodes on virtually every cloud or virtual server provider that offers unique locations. This is the first-ever deployment that involves all cloud network resources accessible on the internet.
Armed with 500 locations across every cloud and VPS provider on the internet gives Syntropyunprecedented visibility into the internet’s performance. Our infrastructure now has an unparalleled ability to monitor and analyze the performance of the public internet.

This milestone will allow Syntropy to route traffic through every possible path between every global cloud network. That results in tens of thousands of unique paths across the best internet backbones in the world.
We will continue to strengthen our global backbone to allow for millions of additional routes. For example, we are working to place dedicated, bare-metal server nodes in every data center in the world. After that will come smaller but pervasive nodes like personal computers and IoT devices.
Our ultimate goal is to have a node in every network on the internet. Today’s network pre-launch is a big step in that direction.

We are already using data from the pre-launch to prepare for the full network launch. By dividing networks into various providers, we can now precisely evaluate each provider along with every location. This performance data will inform how we plan for and grow network capacity.
As we strengthen the network through the pre-launch phase, we look forward to launching the live network as well as the Syntropy Stack, the application that makes it easy for anyone to drive traffic through Syntropy.

Next Steps
The pre-launch network allows us to determine the most critical locations and accurately estimate the required capacities for each of these locations. After this data is aggregated, we will invite our community and partners to add high-performance nodes along paths where we anticipate high network demand.
In other words, community-led efforts will strengthen our network infrastructure in the highest-value locations (i.e. where the best optimizations will occur). To coordinate this, we will be announcing a new Node Program with relevant details including target node locations, incentives for participation, and more.
