We’ve just come into an agreement with our newest Proof-of-Concept(PoC) client. From now on, we’ll be working with Strive — a leading Content Delivery Network (CDN) technology provider for OTT(over-the-top media services) broadcasters and live streaming companies. Strive’s goal is to bring TV-grade customer experience to the OTT world. By optimizing live content caching and ensuring controllable and secure WebRTC live streaming, Strive is shaping a future where OTT Broadcasting is as robust and high-quality as today’s TV experience.

Our Role

The first phase of work will be dedicated to testing Strive’s architecture to understand their network conditions. Strive’s end-device Peer-To-Peer network will then be extended by NOIA Backbone — an integrated Software Defined Network (SDN) solution — built and designed to be flexible and user-friendly enough to solve unique cases such as Strive’s.

All this process will be summed up by collecting all the empirical evidence and presented as a case study on how NOIA Backbone improved Strive’s CDN infrastructure’s performance for video live streaming service.

NOIA SDN creates additional pathways that provide our clients with the flexibility to control their traffic as they see fit. Being able to tailor the “thought process” of the network leads to greater efficiency.

Here’s NOIA’s CTO Jonas take on working with strive:

“We are confident that this collaboration will perfectly work both ways. We’ll leverage our expertise in the field to help Strive ensure best customer experience and prove that NOIA Backbone is the go-to solution for Peer-to-Peer(P2P) and other CDN networks to enhance their technology.”

And here’s what Strive’s team representetive had to say:

“NOIA is doing great work to make video delivery scalable and easy. We have seen them as an interesting technology partner for a long time and are happy to combine our products and make our vision of future TV become true.”
