What started out as an ambitious effort from a small group of eager individuals, is slowly but surely maturing into something much larger. The time has come to evolve from a niche technology startup into an organization representing a global movement to change the internet for the better.

As we look ahead, we want to elevate the kind of influence our organization has in terms of real impact. We intend to become more of a global voice to reach a wider demographic and become relevant to far-reaching technology organizations, developers, and ultimately internet users all around the world.

We are bringing in major thought leaders, corporate executives, and policy makers to build real advocacy, drive our narrative forward, and start discussions around internet responsibility, security, and user rights. Our expanded team is taking on an active role in shaping how the new internet forms.

Our quest is to help the Internet transform into a secure and user-centric Internet, where encryption and optimized performance are built-in and automatically enabled for anything and everything connected to it.

The technology we’re building is compatible with the current Internet infrastructure and its protocols, but it introduces a crucial layer of programmability which allows for the complete utilization of resources. It removes bottlenecks and limitations of the existing system, ensures security and optimization by default, and unlocks greater scalability potential for future technologies and applications.

The only way to achieve such a transformation is through an ecosystem where the technology is open, fair, and easily accessible, with the infrastructure supported by many of its constituent parts (nodes, developers, businesses) and offered to the whole world, to all.

Such an ecosystem must be open source to encourage cooperation and achieve wide adoption and integration into all other key technology systems. Blockchain technology takes open-source to a totally new dimension. It allows the ecosystem to create its own decentralized economy, enabled by a powerful digital asset which encapsulates the network’s impact and allows for value creation, capture, and distribution back to a large community of diverse stakeholders.

An open economy for an open technology. One that is supported by tens of thousands of community members running the node infrastructure, with developers incentivized to build and use it to deliver their applications and software. Only an ecosystem like that can provide a level of trust and transparency which is by design impossible for any private company. It pushes the evolution of the Internet from the ground up.

We live in a world where technology allows for a complete re-imagination of how systems are designed. Bitcoin kick-started this powerful paradigm shift. Ethereum proved how decentralized ecosystems can thrive and expand. Projects like Polkadot and Chainlink provided further examples of powerful developer ecosystems.

By enabling an ecosystem on top of a user-centric internet, we can unite millions under one mission, harnessing talent and creativity from around the world while granting them a chance to hold a portion of the new internet economy.

We’ve been planning this next step for about a year now. A lot of work has gone into it, a lot of moving parts had to be developed and stitched together, but we’re nearly there.

Next week, we’ll be unveiling the new face of our project. We have a vision that captures the essence of tomorrow’s internet, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

To all our long-term community members, we can’t thank you enough for supporting us as we put the pieces in place to realize our vision. To anyone new, welcome aboard.
