About Numbers Protocol
Numbers is a decentralized photo network challenging the NFT world by creating an open and verifiable source for NFTs and photography.
The Problem
Numbers came to us looking for a community-led brand strategy & digital brand experience for the decentralized photo network.
One of Numbers main focus is bringing back trust to media and the digital experience. With fake news and misinformation circulating without regulation, building an infrastructure that captures authenticity is integral to the success of our future.
Our Strategy
In July 2021 we started on an ongoing partnership with Numbers’ leadership team. Firstly we immersed ourselves into their world through a series of interactive workshops, and interviews with team members and partners to gather transformational insights.
We identified that Numbers weren’t just authenticating digital images online, they were enabling people to better critically analyze the world around them and in turn reviving ‘truth seeking’ in society.
To be able to critically analyze and create a better debate in society and a less divided democracy — we need to give people the ‘full picture’.
This is where our big idea was born.
We continue to work with Numbers on developing and creating marketing assets to help build their growing community.
Design Insights
The N logo, built from simple geometric shapes is a reflection of Numbers’ core values. The three rectangles represent decentralization and simplicity. The two triangles in the center depict two sides of a story and critical thinking.
Combining these two elements formed the letter N, giving off a transparent and connected feeling that Numbers want to deliver to the world through a decentralized future on the blockchain.
Alongside their main branding, we created four icons; Capture, Seal, Trace & API. These are the pillars that enable Numbers to grow and help the world. These icons will be used to communicate Numbers offering and share the logo’s visual language of overlapping, simple geometry.
We are looking forward to the continued partnership between ourselves and Numbers!
