Lab Research Featured in Story on Chicago Connected

Our lab’s research on studying the digital divide was recently featured on NBC Chicago’s series on “Race in Chicago”, which is exploring various disparities across the city.

Researchers in the lab have been studying Internet performance measurement for more than a decade. Recently, we have been applying these insights, building on the Net Microscope project, to launch a new effort to better understand how different communities are coping with increased reliance on remote learning.
