Hello again dear listeners,

The launch of the podcast went fantastically well, we were both blown away by the support from our networks.

Episode #2 was with Zeis Lentz.

Zeis is an FUI Designer from Munich, Germany .When he’s not working on some of your favourite shows, he streams as a partnered streamer on Twitch and works as a voice actor on shows like Game of Thrones, Outlander, The Blacklist and many more.

He wishes he could live in Vancouver, Canada.

Our episode took us through the world of FUI design, what it is, who the big ballers are, and what it takes to break into the industry.

We loved Zeis’ hunger and passion for the industry, and his ability to break down complex ideas into digestable nuggets. He’s also got a voice as smooth as butter.

Where can you find Zeis?

We love the story behind Zeis’ tattoo above,

When I spent 2.5 months in Vancouver to work on The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, Siren and more, it was a life-dream come true.

My apartment was in the heart of Gastown, which has these very distinct lamp posts everywhere. I wanted to commemorate my time there, but also include something to hint towards FUIs.

The one thing I hide in all of my FUIs is “2315” — “ZEIS” in 1337-Speak. So one evening, I went down to the pub with a notebook and a pen, had some drinks and started sketching.

I saw the lamp outside and came up with the design I have on my hand now. It’s a simplified lamppost but it as 2 dots on the bottom, 3 on the top, 1 Triangle and 5 dots in total — 2315.

The next day I went to a tattoo shop down the street and had my hand inked.

Music round

Seeing as we’re called Noise, we thought we’d ask our guests about their music tastes. Zeis couldn’t pick one, so here we go:

Norah Jones — Come Away With Me

Jack Johnson — On and On

The Best Blue Note Album In The World…Ever

Listen to Zeis’s episode here, and as always please share around your network and give us a rating if you’re enjoying the show.

Until next time,

The boys from Noise.

We’re active on Instagram and Twitter too, we’d love to have you on board.
