The wild, weird and wonderful year that has been Noise’s 4th in existence
Noise Studio began during fall 2018, with three team members sitting around a fire in a cabin in remote Norway. Today, Noise Studio is a global creative agency with 9 full-time staff in just as many countries.
At the turn of our 4th birthday, we brainstormed on how to celebrate as a team. We thought about the work we’ve done, our partners, culture, and growing team. We beamed at our achievement of building a studio that celebrates the crazy over the conventional, the mad over the mundane and the silly over the serious. We reflected at how connected we are as a team despite our nomadic, dreamer existence. Four years is a long time in this industry, yet we all feel like unsupervised children playing out our fantasies of what we wanted grown-up life to be like.
So before we brag about some of our accomplishments from the past year, we want to say a huge thank you to all the people and companies that believed in this crazy bunch of children dressed up as adults. Thank you for trusting us with your brands, digital products, campaigns and productions. Thank you for putting your faith in our creativity and for being open-minded to doing things a bit differently. We feel unbelievably lucky enough to be working for companies and people that we believe in, and without you none of this would be possible.
Here’s a look back on the wild, weird and wonderful year that has been Noise’s 4th in existence.
We grew from a team of 6 to 9.
And worked with 8 brilliant contractors.
We worked on 16 UX UI projects…
We designed 14 new brands…
We created 10 campaigns…
And produced 6 photo and video productions.
We donated 500 hours to designing for non-profit organisations. We also committed to giving 1% for the planet,
And we’re on the road to becoming a B-Corp.
We worked with some of our long-term dream clients, and we won an award for ‘The Most Innovative Branding Agency’.
We launched a bunch of new allowances and benefits to support physical and mental wellness, help us improve our craft and keep us learning, and make sure we’re all set up to work productively.

Surf in Sagres, Portugal.
Ski in Morzine, France.
Hang out in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
And for the ultimate celebration… Meeting for the first time ever as a whole team in SAYULITA, MEXICO!
Since our first company meeting in that cabin in Norway, we’ve been dreaming of getting the team together to surf /work /brainstorm /play /ideate /create /design /draw /drink /eat and just hang out together. The remote agency life is perfect for 99.9% of the time, but sometimes you just can’t beat having a real beer, in real life, with real friends.
After 4 years of very hard work and grafting, we went out of the office for our 4th birthday and it felt pretty damn good.
