We’re Hiring: Verbal Strategist| Mid-Level
The position
We’re looking for someone with a knack for shaping remarkable brand and campaign concepts and strategies for our partners. You’ll be comfortable working with members of every department, on every kind of project.
We have high expectations, and you should feel comfortable consistently delivering top-notch work, starting and finishing projects autonomously, and elevating copy on every project you touch. You’ve got a solid grasp of the fundamentals of good copywriting, and we want to see you push the boundaries even further with experimental and conceptual thinking and writing.
Flexibility is key in our dynamic environment. Whether it’s the last-minute proofreading or major pitch presentations, you’ll adapt like a pro. Through your writing, you’ll breathe life into others’ ideas and wow both teams and clients with fresh, unexpected angles on any given brief.
Tasks
- From concept to completion, you’ll own the process. Taking charge of final delivery, meticulously checking copy to ensure everything is on point, especially when it’s time to go live.
- Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with everyone in the studio. It’s crucial that you can effortlessly collaborate with multiple teams easily.
- Nailing the brief is your specialty, whether it comes from clients or our creative team. Your ability to understand and meet the requirements is essential.
- You’re all about strategies and concepts. Develop brand strategies and systems from the ground up, ensuring they’re tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Go beyond the brief. Look for opportunities to go above and beyond the initial brief, exploring exciting and unexpected territories that will make the work truly outstanding.
- Think beyond words. Show an understanding of all aspects of the creative process; from design to motion, shaping your work accordingly.
- Be the spark that ignites creativity. When articulating strategies or ideas, you set the tone and infuse them with the energy needed to kickstart any project with excitement.
- Manage timings and deadlines. Work closely with client teams to set realistic deadlines, and then ensure that the work is delivered within them.
- Bring narratives to life in presentations. Craft presentations with a clear logic and a captivating story, maximizing their impact and leaving a lasting impression.
- Immerse yourself in projects. Join project teams in immersions and discovery sessions to gather research and gain a comprehensive understanding of our new clients.
Here’s what we’re after
These are the skills and qualities that make our hearts skip a beat:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree, plus a solid 4+ years of experience in brand, advertising, digital, or management consultant agencies
✍️ A genuine love of writing
💬 Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English is an absolute must.
🔥 Experience with brand strategy, name development, brand architecture, creative briefing, campaign messaging, art direction, and design principles (you’re a creative wizard!)
🔍 Proven critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize content and conduct top-notch research
📝 Attention to detail is your middle name (nothing gets past you!)
🌍 Passionate about brands and their potential to make a positive impact on the world
🌟 High standards for work, because we’re all about delivering excellence
💪 Confident, assertive, and articulate when it comes to presenting your work
🔀 Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload (and ask questions when things get ambiguous)
🎨 Strong creative instincts and a willingness to push boundaries through experimentation you’re a creative explorer!)
💻 Proficiency in industry-standard tools, especially Figma
🎨 A refined sense of design, color, and aesthetics, because we appreciate the beauty in everything we do
