Nokia Lumia 1520 Review
My review of the Nokia Lumia 1520
Nokia has sent me a Lumia 1520 for testing and here are my impressions.
It is a really nice smartphone with a beautiful screen, great performance, and good battery life. What sounds like the perfect smartphone, actually isn’t quite that impressive. It is a huge device and the user doesn’t really benefit from that except from the bigger battery.
There’s no stylus support, no real multitasking and the possibilities with Windows Phone are rather limited. You can take great photos, play games and watch movies and you’ll probably really enjoy doing that on a Lumia 1520. But when it comes to productivity, the Lumia 1520 fails completely.
It has Microsoft Office, which can be used for editing small documents, but this isn’t really effective.
In the end the Nokia Lumia 1520 is just another Windows Phone 8 device by Nokia except with a bigger screen, which doesn’t mean it is a bad smartphone, but it isn’t a good phablet either.
