We’re still four months away from the 2017 Cinema Eye Honors, but the contenders for the nonfiction awards are already being shortlisted. Some of them, anyway. This week, Cinema Eye announced 10 semi-finalists for the Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Short Filmmaking Honor, a shortlist that includes a number of short docs available to watch online right now.

Check out the titles below and, where available, the films themselves (or trailers or teasers where available if not). The official nominees will be announced November 2nd and the award will be given out on January 11, 2017.
