Definitions of Art

I once attempted to define Art as:

The unique combination of technique and imagination creating something greater than the sum of both, which simultaneously touches the heart and mind in a form impossible by any other means.

Then Brian Eno went and did it properly:

“Art is everything we don’t need to do.”
