Bit of a smaller bin this month, what can you do! Doesn’t matter as the quality amongst all of these releases is as amazing as ever. From sharp edged electronic from MISH to sludged out dub on Limbo Tapes, this bin has got something for everyone, as always.

V/A (Glass) — Place: France

Resident: OOH-Sounds
Label: Place:

Following their stand out release on OOH-Sounds earlier this year, Glass have returned with a contribution to this eclectic V/A from Place:.

Glass’s track takes form in a similar vein to that release with surgical sound design pulsating against downtempo rhythmics.

Whole V/A looks at disparate music from France, connected by a similar sonic ethos. All proceeds go to France Nature Environment, go check it out.

Evadney — Ready / Them Deep Fillers

Resident: Evadney
Label: Self Released

Two sultry compositions from Evadney. The first, backlit by gentle piano ruminations and the second, by abstract ambiences gracefully moving the song forward.

Both vocal works cut straight to chest forcing you to slow down for a moment and listen.

Out as a limited edition of 20 7"s on his own label. Well worth grabbing before they’re gone.

V/A (MISH) — Risky Business

Resident: MISH
Label: Egregore Collective

Like walking through a damp swamp with hollowed out pumpkins for shoes, this bit from MISH is squelchy and dubbed out to no end.

Cutting edge production, crisp as hell to go along with it too. Drums are tight and everything is as it should be. Beautiful stuff.

Talented producer coming into his own here, go support.

Henzo — Iron Lighter EP

Resident: LR+C w/ Korzi
Label: LR+C

EP from Henzo here for Manchester’s Left, Right & Centre imprint.

Squelchy, syncopated downtempo business driven by bass weight fit to make the dance come alive. Wide range of influences across this whole thing keeping it interesting at every turn.

Whiffs of Dancehall, suggestions of Techno, nods to bass music all squished into one delicious package.

Ulrich Troyer — Mixtape For L

Resident: Radio Limbo
Label: Limbo Tapes

Following Ulrich’s trilogy of releases titled ‘Songs For William’, the first of which was put out by Deep Medi, Ulrich returns to these pieces in mixtape form.

Dubbed out and laced with sirens, sit back and go deep into this wonderful collection of stripped back organic dub.

Get the tape for the hiss to complement.
