Back again with another selection of our residents releases from last month. Bunch of amazing stuff as always, huge V/A from Ecke Records, unreleased-now-released bits from Dubby Gun, classic reissue from Few & Far Between, as well as much, you know what to do!
V/A — Friends of Ecke Pt. 2
Resident: Barking & Corner Klub

Two long time friends and residents of the station here teaming up. Berlin based Barking with a contribution to the Ecke Records comp.
Glassy pads with undulating bass weight arpeggios driving the track forwards to a crisp crescendo of sombre interlocking pads.

Here we have a massive compilation of tracks from the deep vaults of Duppy Gun. A selection of prime tracks which never made it onto releases throughout the last ten years.
Many different flavours across this thing, all tied together with a love for sub, cutting percussion and expert vocal delivery.
Gabriel Gifford—
Better Than Before (feat. Sans Soucis)

Another dreamy-jazz-pop present from Berlin based Gabriel Gifford. This time his woozy smooth productions are complemented with vocal treats from Sans Soucis.
Again a catchy and delightful jazz infused track with expert production across the whole thing.
Go listen to the rest of Gabe’s stuff too, it’s all gold.

What do we have here, yet another delightful release from the Vaagner guys. This one part one of a two part compilation made up of friends and affiliates of the label.
If you’ve been following this label, you’ll know there is never a dry moment. Beautiful experimental, ambient and all else in between — this one is no different.
One for fans of Eno’s Obscure Music label.
Caro — Lowlands

Shrouded in smoke and mist this thing poises between warmth and cold. Whether it be the sample selection, the field recordings or the drum programming — its holding my attention the whole way through.
What a great release, go get it on cassette format as is intended.

Remotif’s addition to the Estonia based Coymix LTD label in the form of a four track EP laced with nostalgic synth patterns, bouncing basslines and classic drum machines.
This is one to keep you up through the night for sure, out on 12" and digi now, you know what to do!
Sub-Love — The Other Side
Resident: Few & Far Between w/ Sam Hall

Bristol’s Few & Far Between here with a reissue of the rare and acclaimed 1992 Sub-Love track ‘The Other Side’.
Classic techno done the way we want it. Oh and there’s also remix treatment from Bruce on the other side — with him giving it a future-facing dancehall inflection. Dubbed out deliciousness.

Valesuchi contribution to this V/A out on ZONAᴇxᴘ. Deep and fast dubbed out techno stripped back to its core — persistent kicks and rapid synth lines.
I think this one would send you loopy (in the best way) at 4am somewhere. Rest of the comp also interesting with everything from heavy industrial rhythms to wistful jungle cuts.
