This inspirational book by Gladwell destroys the myth that we are born with certain skills, natural intelligence, high IQ, etc.
He disagrees with the idea that successful people are born special, that they were destined for greatness.
Although this theory has been questioned, criticised and discussed, I’m a believer.
His theory is that in 10 000 hours we can all achieve mastery in any field. A perfect example of how practise makes perfect.
So is it possible?
With the right mentality, anything is possible. We are built to succeed. If you want to do something and you are determined enough, then you will do it.
We are never too old, too tired or too busy.
The secret to becoming the best is a mixture of desire, passion, courage, dedication in your learning and the willingness to practise what you have learnt.
Anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it.
Believe that you can be and do anything. If you want to be the best, then there is no better time to start than right now.
