Summary
The SFX programme combines studies in Swedish at Helsingfors Arbis and vocational Social and Health Care studies in Prakticum.
The main target of the project is to develop language studies and mentoring to better support immigrants in their studies for the vocational exam, Practical Nurse.
The goal is for the students to have completed two vocational modules, “Support and guidance of growth” and “Nursing and Care”, by the time the project ends in the summer of 2017.
After the project ends the students have a possibility to continue their studies in Prakticum, either as apprenticeship studies or as vocational adult studies.
