Nori to Integrate into Menthol Protocol to Advance Web3 Carbon Removal
Making carbon removal more accessible to Web3 and beyond.
Nori is partnering with Menthol Protocol to make our carbon removal offsets available to their users! Menthol Protocol is creating the first decentralized, multi-chain protocol to incorporate carbon reductions and removals — allowing individuals, dApps, entire blockchain networks, and others to automatically remove carbon emissions from their on or off-chain projects. Our integration will give Menthol Protocol’s users the opportunity to go beyond carbon emissions reductions and avoidances to actually remove carbon from the atmosphere.

Menthol Protocol aims to motivate their users to reach sustainability, then regeneration — by first addressing 100% of a user or project’s emissions, then scaling up to 150%, 200%, and beyond. The Protocol will support all major dApps, and is designed to be as composable and pluggable as possible. - CoolPool: Where users can allocate funds to offset or remove future on-chain or off-chain activities.
- CoolLeaderboard: Menthol CoolLeaderboard gauges the sustainability performance of major dApps and blockchain networks.
To reverse climate change, we collectively need to remove billions of tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
