Kings Hammer FC 1 vs 1 Indy Eleven

The opening game of the week seven ended in a draw with each side scoring a first half goal. Madelyn Young scored for KHFC while Katherine Soderstrom got Indy’s lone goal.

Chicago City SC 1 vs 0 St. Louis Lions

Chicago City dominated the match managing to get eight shots on target compared to just two for the Lions. Addison Miller stopped seven of the eight shots sent to her, only letting in a 69th minute goal from CCSC’s Megan Nemec.

Detroit City FC 2 vs 1 AFC Ann Arbor

A midweek clash between two Michigan rivals on the outside of the playoff picture and looking to punch their way into it. Detroit’s Brynn Gardner scored the opener at Keyworth in just the 14th minute of the match, Le Rouge added a second tally with a 41st minute goal from Shannon McCarthy. Ann Arbor’s Ashley Zugay scored for the visitors just 13 minutes into the second half, but the one goal would not be enough with DCFC claiming three points.

Indy Eleven 3 vs 1 Racing Louisville

With the top spot in the Great Lakes Division on the line, Racing travelled up to Indiana to face Indy Eleven. Indy would score the only goal of the first 45 minutes, while in the second half Racing would score one, but Indy added two more to give themselves a two goal win.

Minnesota Aurora 3 vs 1 Chicago City SC

Kaw Valley FC 2 vs 2 Green Bay Glory

With only one playoff spot in the Heartland Division, the Cranes and Glory are both on the back foot attempting to catch Aurora. Shea-Lynn Gerred scored the opener in the first half for Green Bay. After going down a goal early, KVFC answered back with two straight goals from Raena Childers. Abigail Gemza drew the match back to even for the visitors. allowing Aurora to gain more points in the playoff race.

Match Postponed

Kalamazoo FC 2 vs 4 Detroit City FC

Another match with a Michigan rival for DCFC as Le Rouge looked to climb into the playoff race as the end of the season nears for Detroit. Madison Duncan and Kayla Addison both scored for Detroit inside 10 minutes to put the visitors up early. KZOO’s Bailey Korhorn’s 27th minute goal cut the lead in half, but Detroit answered back five minutes later with a Shannon McCarthy goal. Kennedy White scored for DCFC in the second half while Grace Labadie scored late for Kalamazoo for the last goal of the match.

AFC Ann Arbor 3 vs 0 Flint City AFC

Ann Arbor only managed three shots on target against Flint City. The Mighty Oak made the best of those three shots with all three ending in goals with Lina Berrah getting a brace and Marcella Alves Viana scoring in between Berrah’s goals.

Minnesota Aurora 2 vs 0 Kaw Valley FC

Minnesota shut out Kaw Valley in Eagan with Aurora’s Maya Hansen and Catherine Rapp tallying goals for the hosts.

St. Louis Lions 0 vs 1 Green Bay Glory

The week ending match had the Glory travel to the St. Louis area to face the Lions. Skylar Prentice scored the only goal of the night for the Glory in the first half.
