The government has an ambitious plan to see 5626 apartments built alongside the Kellyville and Bella Vista Metro Station. State developer Landcom has submitted the plans. There will be an abundance of apartments and houses for sale in Kellyville and Bella Vista, but today is your day to have your say in the matter.

The multi-million dollars proposals that could see 29 residential buildings constructed at Kellyville. An additional 57 residential and 20 retail buildings are in plans for the Bella Vista station site. The development is of state significance. Landcom will partner with a private developer to build the same.

The Bella Vista site — spanning from Memorial Ave to Celebration Dr — is likely to provide between 2905 and 3822 new homes.

Meanwhile the Kellyville site — stretching along Old Windsor Rd and Samantha Riley Dr — is earmarked to have between 1412 and 1804 apartments.

Planning Department executive director Anthea Sargeant wants the wider community to have their say on the project. “The proposal includes apartments and terrace properties, and future buildings will range between seven metres up to 68 metres in height,” she said.

“The proposal also contains retail and commercial living areas, a fresh primary school, new parks and public spaces and new community facilities.” — everything that will provide a much-needed impetus to the real estate industry in the area and a boost to the number of apartments and houses for sale in Kellyville and Bella Vista.

Kellyville Train station Precinct Programs would include community facilities. Planning documents published this month said the programs aim to build a “beautiful view”.

“Bella Vista Train station Precinct is a vibrant and bustling location. It fosters strong links to its open areas and natural creek, connecting with existing areas, views. The development will be offering transit-oriented conveniences within an urban setting,” organisers said.
