NOS lock-up & removal event (May 1st 2019)
~30M NOS have been locked up, and ~8M NOS have been removed from circulation.

To further decentralize nOS network voting weight in anticipation of the nOS blockchain, we are committing more NOS to a lock-up program and token circulation removal.
Circulation Removal
We’re locking/removing all company tokens from the most recent vested token release of April 30 2019 (see whitepaper for token vesting schedule):
- 29,812,991 NOS are locked at a (non-technical) lock-up address. These NOS will unlock at a rate of 3% per month, starting approximately one month after the first block of the nOS blockchain mainnet.
- 7,780,513 NOS are permanently removed from circulation.
- The circulating supply is now 102,500,000 NOS.
- The total supply is now 330,000,000 NOS.

At this point, a total of ~45 million NOS have been permanently removed from circulation, and ~30 million NOS are re-vesting for approximately 3 years.
