nOS Public Lottery Round 2 — Begins Monday + Round 1 KYC Deadline Extension
We will be opening our second round public lottery by Monday Oct 15th 20:00 CEST.
nOS in Malta
While we’re preparing for our token sale, we are also working hard on building our ecosystem.

Lottery Round 2 & Round 1 KYC
- We will open up our Round 2 Public Lottery on Monday Oct. 15th 16:00 CEST to re-distribute invalid KYC entries from Round 1 to a new set of applicants.
- Anyone can apply for the Round 2 Lottery from Monday Oct 15th 16:00 CEST to Monday Oct. 22nd 16:00 CEST.
- The KYC submission period for Round 1 will remain open until the Round 2 Lottery starts.
Why extend the Round 1 Whitelist KYC?
Good question! And an interesting answer:
There was a period of 30 minutes between:
- The conclusion of Lottery Round 1
- The Lottery Results
During these 30 minutes, we had over 10,000 applicants simultaneously check their lottery result.
At this time, all applicants saw a page that said “You are restricted from the nOS Token Sale”. This page in fact did not indicate the user’s lottery result, and nOS.app promptly displayed the correct result after the results were processed.
However, understandably so, an amount of users were under the impression that they had lost the lottery.
So, as we are preparing for our Public Round 2 Lottery for the nOS Token Sale, we want to give the lottery winners who were under the impression that they had lost, the opportunity to complete their KYC over the weekend.
Any lottery winners or pre-sale participants who’s KYC got declined after Secondary Review, or who have submitted no or incomplete KYC data, will lose their spot in the nOS Public Sale, and will have their entry distributed to the Round 2 Lottery by Monday Oct. 15th.

Clarifying Unsold Tokens
We received some questions this week regarding what we will do with unsold tokens.
Any unsold tokens of the nOS Token Sale are added to the Vested Company Fund, to be distributed over 1 year. These tokens are not directly in circulating supply after the Token Sale. Distribution of the Vested Company Fund tokens starts 3 months after the Token Sale.
