How to join nOS Poker and play the internet’s biggest freerolls

How does it work?
The poker games are in a tournament format: players register before the tournament starts, everyone starts with the same amount of chips, and winners earn real crypto based on their final rank when the game ends.
- Projects that have their own token (such as nOS) can host tournaments using tokens for the prize pool.
- To register for a tournament, players need to hold an amount of the projects’ tokens on their nos.app wallet address (nOS ID). This is called Proof of Loyalty.
- You don’t pay to join a tournament. You only need to hold tokens on your wallet. So the games are free!Creating a nOS Client Account
How do I join?
- Download nOS Client and create (or open) a NEO wallet.
- Inside nOS Client, register to nos.app. You should already see the registration page as soon as you created your wallet. If you already have a connected account then you will be logged in automatically.
- Inside nOS Client, navigate to nos.poker.
- Check the Games Calendar for upcoming tournaments. Click on a tournament to view more details.
- “Req. Balance” (Required Balance) tells you how many tokens you need to hold in order to register for a tournament. Note: You only need to hold the tokens to play. You never actually spend them.
- Click the Play Now button to go to the nOS Poker lobby.
- Click the Tournaments button, and register for the game that you have the Req. Balance for. You can click the “Games Calendar” on the bottom left of your screen to quickly check for games along with their required balances.
- Start & Registration times are in your local timezone.
Getting NOS Tokens
There are daily NOS tournaments that you can join simply by holding NOS on your wallet.
You don’t spend your NOS, you only need to hold them!
You can buy NOS with NEO on Switcheo, a decentralized exchange.
If you don’t have any NEO:
- Buy NEO with your Credit Card on IndaCoin.com,
- Buy NEO with your EU bank card on AnyCoinDirect.eu
You need a few NEO to buy the number of NOS to play in the daily tournaments.
Since NEO is indivisible, you’ll need to buy at least 3 NEO to get 600 NOS (enough to play most tournament).
Make sure the coins are sent to the address listed in your nOS Wallet (click the Wallet icon in nOS Client to find your nOS Wallet).
How to convert NEO to NOS:
Make absolutely sure you’re on the switcheo.exchange website before submitting your private key!
- Go to the Switcheo NOS/NEO trading pair.
- Click “Connect Wallet” and enter your private key (or encrypted key + passphrase, or ledger) to connect your NEO wallet to the exchange.
- In Switcheo, deposit NEO to your Contract Wallet, then buy the amount of NOS you want, and withdraw the NOS back to your wallet.
That’s it! You’re now a player at nOS Poker.
Tip: You can click on the Calendar link to quickly get an overview of upcoming games and their required balances. There you can also click on the game’s name to get more details (such as the payout structure).
