New FTX Tournaments on nOS Poker
nOS app “FTW Lotto” is joining nOS Poker by sponsoring free poker tournaments with FTX.
The nOS application FTW Lotto is now a nOS Poker sponsor, hosting free tournaments with FTX (FTWX) tokens.
Anyone can play for free and win FTX prizes!
How do I join?
- Download nOS Client and create (or open) a NEO wallet.
- Inside nOS Client, register to nos.app. You should already see the registration page as soon as you created your wallet. If you already have a connected account then you will be logged in automatically.
- Inside nOS Client, navigate to nos.poker.
- Check the Games Calendar for upcoming tournaments. Click on a tournament to view more details.
- “Req. Balance” (Required Balance) tells you how many tokens you need to hold in order to register for a tournament. Note: You only need to hold the tokens to play. You never actually spend them.
- Click the Play Now button to go to the nOS Poker lobby.
- Click the Tournaments button, and register for the game that you have the Req. Balance for. You can click the “Games Calendar” on the bottom left of your screen to quickly check for games along with their required balances.
- Start & Registration times are in your local timezone.
Getting FTX Tokens
There are several weekly FTX tournaments that you can join simply by holding FTX on your wallet.
You don’t spend your FTX, you only need to hold them!
You can buy FTX with NEO on Switcheo, a decentralized exchange.
If you don’t have any NEO:
- Buy NEO with your Credit Card on IndaCoin.com,
- Buy NEO with your EU bank card on AnyCoinDirect.eu
You need a few NEO to buy the number of NOS to play in the daily tournaments.
Since NEO is indivisible, you’ll need to buy at least 2 NEO to get 7000 FTX (enough to play most tournaments).
There are also weekly NOS tournaments, for which you need to hold 500 NOS (about 3 NEO) in order to register. So to join both FTX and NEO tournaments, make sure to buy 5 NEO.
Make sure that the coins are sent to the address listed in your nOS Wallet (click the Wallet icon in nOS Client to find your nOS Wallet).
How to convert NEO to FTX:
Make absolutely sure you’re on the switcheo.exchange website before submitting your private key!
- Go to the Switcheo FTWX/NEO trading pair (FTX and FTWX are the same token).
- Click “Connect Wallet” and enter your private key (or encrypted key + passphrase, or ledger) to connect your NEO wallet to the exchange.
- In Switcheo, deposit NEO to your Contract Wallet, then buy the amount of NOS you want, and withdraw the NOS back to your wallet.
To join the FTX games, check the Games Calendar on the nOS Poker front page, and look at the Req. Balance.
The Req. Balance is the amount of tokens that you need to hold on your own wallet balance in order to register for the game. You don’t spend these tokens.
You can now play at nOS Poker. Good luck at the tables!
