This 5-minute post is intended to share with you, in a pragmatic way, something already in the making and how I will create the Future of Education.

Hi! I’m Julio Fontes, an entrepreneur from São Paulo, Brazil.

For the past 12 years mostly building in the Education/Edtech Market, with +15 million people reached, with only 1 purpose:

Create and show more opportunities/support and better/more choices saving people time and money.

I developed new concepts for the Market, such as The World’s First Colearning Space. And my vision for a new Global Educational System.

My vision is to redefine the way people learn, teach and do things — especially outside privileged places.

The Future of Education

It demands new infrastructure. This means changing the conditions and ways in which thousands of existent systems and resources connect with each other — MOOCs, videos, games, classes, curricula, books, teachers, public spaces, devices, services, schools, etc…

And of them combined — in a valuable technically and operationally sophisticated solution.

What is Coletividad

To organize the World’s Learning resources in one place.

  1. Creating a visible Map of ‘Education opportunities’ (like Uber cars) around you.
  2. (Will) turn every space into a classroom.
  3. Creating recommendations system of a personalized, autonomous, episodic, asynchronous individual Learning Pathway.
  4. Creating an (honest) rating & review system of every course, school, teacher, bootcamp before investing time and money.

To create this new Infrastructure for Education.
Redefine the way people learn, teach and create things.

To reduce the Asymmetric Information and system inefficiencies by mapping, clustering and organizing unstructured data semantically. That will allow creating a diverse, customizable, predictive, adaptive, assisted and a personalized Learning Path (Journey).

Connecting Courses, Visits, Books, Moocs, Events, Workshops, Challenges, Bootcamps, Hackathons, Challenges, Mentoring, Meetups, Videos, Articles, Researches, Podcasts — and any and all Learning ‘formats’ in a smart way.

A platform — everything is connected. Events, courses, students, teachers, books, videos, podcasts, schools, startups, services, each with their own individual purpose.

No separation between on and offline.

No distinction between my own or a 3º party (‘competitor’) content. It’s all for the benefit and experience of the user.

To reduce cost, expand access, promote high value for parties, increase agility and efficiency through a differentiated method, creating strong cross-cutting effects.
