Nostalgia ULTRA

In the midst of chaos we often forget ourselves. We close our eyes and float along the currents of life, relinquishing all control. Is it not the easiest way? We’ve all paddled upstream at one point in our lives. It seems very counterintuitive. How much control can we really exert over the future?

This collection is nothing more than my own attempt at self-rediscovery. Who I was yesterday is not who I am today. And what about tomorrow? The possibilities are infinite.

For someone like me who has trouble remembering who I was last week, this is my chance for introspection. Bad memory coupled with a tendency for nostalgia might make this process a bit harder than expected. But we are young and the world still seems to hold endless possibilities. For now we are immortals.

This is a collection of stories and thoughts from soul drifting towards the unknown.

A fair warning to the readers: Due to my tendency to romanticise the past these stories might have have a bias for nostalgia. I will try my best to recollect the events as an impartial narrator — but wishful thinking might occur.

All characters’ names have been changed to avoid embarrassing phone calls.
