Former Beşiktaş marksman Nardeus playing with mousesports in week three

After a bumpy start to the 2016 European Challenger Series Spring Split, mousesports League of Legends team is making a roster change for week three.

AD carry Tomáš “Nardeus” Maršálek will play with the team next week in place of Tarik “Tarik” Holz. It’s uncertain if the move is permanent, however, Maršálek will play as mousesports faces Team Huma.

Maršálek, who formerly played for 3sUP and Beşiktaş e-Sports Club tweeted earlier today that he would be competing in Challenger next week. Sources close to the player later confirmed to the Daily Dot that he would be a member of the mousesports lineup.

Maršálek will meet an old rival in his first match on Tuesday: Anıl “HolyPhoenix” Işık, who is currently Team Huma’s AD carry. Both of these players played in Turkey last season in the Turkish Champions League for Beşiktaş and HWA Gaming respectively.

Both moved on to European Challenger scene teams during the offseason. Maršálek joined 3sUP, while Işık joined Huma. Maršálek saw very little success with 3sUP, as the roster failed to qualify twice for the Challenger Series. Işık and his squad however made it in with only one loss to Millenium in the qualification run.

Now Maršálek will get his third chance to prove himself as a top European Challenger marksman — mousesports took losses to Inspire Esports and Millenium, two of the best Challenger Series squads, over the past two weeks. mousesports is currently tied for last with SK Gaming.

Can Maršálek make a difference? While in Turkey, he had dominating performances both in spring and summer, leading Beşiktaş to a first-place finish in both splits. That region, however, is not as good as Europe in terms of competition and he’ll need to bring his A game to succeed this split.
