ITEM ONE: “LEFT OUT” WON’T BE LEFT OUT! THE VIDEO FOR THE DEBUT SINGLE OFF OF SUPER SEXY SPACE STATION IS HERE.
In case you weren’t one of the six people who read last month’s edition of “Heck With the Media,” here is the quick n dirty behind the production of “Left Out”: On the evening of Sunday, September 13 we all got together at Andrew’s house in Clinton Hill to shoot a video for “Left Out.” With a big paper green screen from B&H, and some lights and a camera borrowed from Andrew’s dad we passed around an increasingly sweaty tight green shirt and filmed into the wee hours. We got some weird footage, some funny footage, some shitty footage and, fortunately, some really great stuff. The video will tackle a familiar Motor Tom theme: 90’s childhood ceding to 00’s over-technologifintegration. It might turn out all right. You can decide for yourself on Friday, November 13 when we share it with the world and throw a massive party at ELVIS GUESTHOUSE.

While we don’t consider ourselves a political band, we are after all a collection of men and man is a political animal. We live in a place and time where politics inhabits its very own realm, separate from the social sphere, different from anything having to do with compassion, reason, mutual understanding. But regardless of whether or not Bernie Sanders gets the nomination or becomes the leader of the free world, he has at least shown us all that the contemporary state of political compartmentalization is an expression of something else, not a thing itself. Politics can and damn well should bear resemblance and relation to humanity. •••
