The Motor Tom to Headline Black Bear in Williamsburg 3.27.15

WE ARE HEADLINING BROOKLYN FOR THE FIRST TIME!

emember Alessandro? We sure as hell do, and we think fondly of the time we were priviledged enough to spend with him as our drummer. His last show with us was on Saturday, August 16 at Black Bear Bar (the old Public Assembly) on N. 6th in W’Burg. Though we generally don’t believe in fate, something cosmic could have been in the air that night because Big Al Lightning Bolti Inolti invited a bunch of his music school friends, among them a fellow Italian stallion named Luca Bertaglia.

It’s hard to say exactly how things progressed from there, but if you told us that you saw Luca leaving JJ’s house early the next morning, we wouldn’t argue. (They’re not gay together, or apart, but they do get into some serious over-night chill sessions now and again. If they were gay, though, we wouldn’t give a what, of course. Shit, man, we all recently learned that there are Irish gay folk, so… now the old joke about the leprechaun in the bathroom makes a [w]hole lot more sense.)

Anyway……….

We must have made an impression on the place because we are soon returning to the stage at Black Bear Bar to headline. We’re pumped, stoked, glad, proud, happy, scared, anxious, tingly, emotional, queazy, timid, honored and excited to be making our Bee Kay Head-Lining debut on FRIDAY, MARCH 27.
