Join Us for a Not-so-Happy Pandemics Hour
A chance to think while you drink!
In honor of the more-or-less — with the stress on less — ending or at least easing up, hopefully, of the coronavirus, we’ve created a not-so-happy hour event, which at the very least, gives us an excuse to imbibe every Wednesday at five.
We picked Wednesday cause it’s hump day. Monday was our first choice but the board voted that down. Too close to the weekend not to appear tacky. Besides, some of us would still be recovering from Sunday morning hangovers. We need a few days to clear our heads.
But waiting till Friday felt like torture. So we split the difference. And came up with something to help us over the hump. The challenge was to find a way to frame it so we’d be able to have a good time and still stagger into work on Thursday morning. Or at least sometime on Thursday.
So Danny in, you guessed it, Risk Management, came up with our theme–Pandemics. This way, we can present some helpful, or at least historical, if not fascinating, information to ponder while slugging down Ciscos.
