Kellogg pulled its ads from Breitbart, the alt-right / white nationalist platform previously run by Steve Bannon, Trump’s appointee for Chief Strategist.

In response, Breitbart is encouraging its readers to boycott Kellogg. The company is reportedly receiving abusive calls from Breitbart supporters, so let’s do the opposite: call and graciously thank them for refusing to support a platform that champions bigotry.

This call should take about 5 minutes. With a flood of Trump supporters calling, you might be on hold for a few minutes before getting through to a Kellogg representative. I put them on speaker phone while I was on hold and worked on other stuff.

Script

I wanted to express support for Kellogg pulling its ads from the Breitbart News website. Thank you for doing the courageous thing and standing up against bigotry.

Words of encouragement

It’s our turn to provide encouragement—call center workers are likely being inundated with vitriol thanks to the Breitbart boycott, so be a positive force and reinforce the action that their company has already taken.
