Whether you’re spring cleaning or just need to be away from the members of your household, a podcast is a great way to transport you and feel a sense of normalcy! Also, gives you something to look forward to every week. Here are my favorites:

The Armchair Expert

Who: Dax Shepard from CHIPs, Kristen Bell’s husband, The Ranch

Who would love it: Those who like to know about celebrities’ lives, people analyzers (a.k.a. you like to know why people do the things they do), psychology dabblers, and anthropologists.

Why I love it:

The very first episode had me hooked because Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s relationship is positioned as the #Goals kind of relationship. He opens the episode by saying Kristeen and him were fighting before they started recording! Get prepared to sip the most tea!

Dax takes a unique interview style and gets the actors and famous people to actually be themselves. You never will relate more to celebs until you listen to this podcast. It’s a reminder that we are all human.

Favorite episodes: Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Will Ferrel

The Office Ladies

Who: Jenna Fischer (Pam Beasley) and Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin)

Who would love it: Anyone who misses The Office, anyone who likes gossip and insider conversations.

Why I love it: This podcast is comforting. I have seen every episode at least twice, but it is so fun to reminisce. It is like discussing your favorite college memories with your old roommate.

Favorite episode: Christmas Party, but really just all of them

Crime Junkie

Who: Ashley Flowers and, her childhood BFF, Brittany

Who would love it: All crime show lovers and mystery obsessed.

Why I love it:

I had to drive to Arizona from Texas and it was a 14-hour drive, did I mention I did it in the middle of the night?! I was desperate for something to keep me awake but I didn’t want something too scary and the cover of this looked nice and friendly but still mysterious.

Also, it had over 100 episodes so I knew I could binge it. Ashley is a great storyteller and their cause behind the podcast is inspiring. Their aim is to give attention to victims in smaller lesser-known cases, and they’re just as juicy as the big serial killer cases. Even better is some of the crimes they discuss are unsolved and they consistently call on their listeners to be on the lookout for criminals that got away!

I also like that they offer practical rules to help you stay safe because you never know when tragedy and crime might strike in your life.

Favorite episodes: #4 SERIAL KILLER: The West Mesa Killer (January 1, 2018 so creepy), #5 WANTED: Robert Fisher (January 8, 2018), WANTED: Monster in Fort Wayne (April 2, 2018)

The Goal Digger Podcast

Who: Jenner Kutcher

Who would love it: Entrepreneurs, future influencers, marketers, and self-help book lovers

Why I love it:

Jenna Kutcher’s story is what influencer dreams are made of. She’s Exhibit A if you look up the original influencer in the dictionary. She started as a wedding photographer and invested in her business to grow it.

She’s my go-to for blog, podcast, webinar, and all content advice. She’s been making money off her blog for 8 years, and she has a plethora of experience to share. After I listen to one of her podcasts I always feel inspired to create something.

Her awesome mid-west accent makes her fun to listen to as well.
